9/12 Board meeting

Just a reminder,

The ICRC leadership will be holding it’s normal monthly board meeting Thursday September 12th, at the Applewood diner in Bristol (820 Farmington Avenue, Bristol, CT) . Please arrive at 6:30 if you plan on ordering food or at 7:00 if you would simply like to attend the meeting.

ICRC Board meetings are open and all are welcome to attend.

September 8th the ICRC will be supporting the Bike MS ride to benefit the national MS Society. This is a big ride and we need the participation of as many hams as possible.

08-16-2013 Meeting

We had a fantastic meeting this Friday. We started with a VE session directed by AB1NH. Our officers lead discussion and planning on up coming events such as the Bike MS ride September 8th. And a technical presentation lead by our own Dan W1ZFG taught all in attendance how to use packet radio…



The ICRC will be coordinating testing sessions to help you get your amateur radio license.

What is the ICRC?

Welcome to the Insurance City Repeater Club website. The ICRC is a club established by amateur radio operators for the purpose of scientific exploration, and maintaining communications in times of emergency. We currently meet monthly at the American Red Cross in Farmington Connecticut on the 3rd Friday of each month at 7:30PM. The public is welcome to attend.

Prior to those monthly meetings, beginning at 6pm, the ICRC sponsors amateur radio exam sessions. Walk-ins are welcomed. Examination fee is $15 cash or check made payable to ARRL VEC.
